Today, David Gaskin wanted to clear the air by drafting a press release that claimed that he severed ties with James "The Sleaze" Mooney and Boxcar Joy "Ride to Jail" Graves. The group did not meet up to his so-called "high-standards" so he decided to create a brand new Native American tribe. We will take his word for it so here is the press release that he sent out online:
In his press release, he wrote, "I do not approve of the actions I've been made aware of that the Onac organization is engaged in." He does not list specifics of what those actions are. So let's get into the meat of that.
1st, David Gaskin makes the false claim that he was not allowed to perform rituals or blessing of sacraments at any of the churches. That is simply untrue. The truth is there is a video of him on vimeo.com performing rituals. Of course he was allowed to do that because that is what churches do. Why would anyone in the cannabis community want a raid to occur due to a false church? David Gaskin is the same person who was kicked off of a walk in Arizona and crawled for help in southern California. His job was eventually to grow legit churches, perform rituals, and bless the sacraments.
2nd, he spent time with sketchy people in the church and smoking out. He was chilling out too much to function properly. If no rituals were performed, it was because he chose not to do it.
3rd, there is surveillance footage of David Gaskin hanging out on the couch in the waiting room at a southern California collective. For every young woman who walked in, David Gaskin would try to hit on them (no success according to surveillance footage). He would even make sexual comments to a few of these women. One woman made a sexual harassment complaint to one of the collective staff members. It was all caught on tape. These are supposed to be patients at a collective, not dating prospects for David Gaskin. If he wants to do that, he has to do that away from the premises.
His irresponsible behavior and being unproductive are the reasons why he was told to go back home. Instead of trying to grow the church, his only focus was to fool around. Why is he going around saying he was not allowed to perform rituals? Is he really just attacking ONAC and others because he was lectured not to sexually harass anymore women? Although he caused many problems in southern California, the people who support ONAC do wish him luck in his next journey. Hopefully he learned from his mistakes and lives a more effective life. We acknowledge that Gaskin has no ties to Mooney so he will not be mentioned anymore.
